The Grassroots Peace Initiative is dedicated to improving our global society through the promotion of active participation in our local and national political and humanitarian communities. Specifically, we hope to encourage political participation at a grassroots level, both through the formation of local discussion groups on global and local issues (such as war, poverty, genocide, injustice, and civil rights abuse) and through the facilitation of campaigns targeting our political leaders (including letter writing campaigns, letters to newspaper editors, and rally attendance).
